In a more light hearted distraction from the rigours of an election campaign, Liberal Democrat parliamentary hopeful Chris Took found time for a number of long distance Liberal supporters.

Chris was contacted by Jan De Corte, a Flemish teacher of English in Torhout near Bruges, whose students were visiting Kent to study the forthcoming British General Election. Chris agreed to meet with his students and provide Liberal Democrat posters and pamphlets.

"The students were very well informed" said Chris, "and I was delighted to help out with their class project."
