Blue, Yellow, Purple, Green and Red, a hint perhaps of the final result?

At the last public meeting before polling day Ashford Liberal Democrat candidate Chris Took has urged voters to "back the economic and socially progressive party, back myself, back the Liberal Democrats, back the REAL alternative."

At a meeting specially organised by 'Churches Together in Ashford' Chris and his four political opponents gathered for a 'Question Time' debate, the last public meeting before Thursday's polling day.

Questions were submitted in advance and then collated into specific topic areas. Issues raised were wide ranging, some local, some national and some moral.

"It felt good" added Chris "that there were clearly issues of division and issues of unity amongst us."

"I just hope we are all smiling as much on Thursday as we were tonight!"
