"Charing High Street is a busy place, in part because of the successful businesses here. Busy, after all, is good!

However, at times it seems we are being taken over by cars.

What can we do?

I pledge to work closely with the Parish Council to develop a scheme acceptable to both residents and business involving one

way and/or restricted flows of traffic.

Additionally, once the new parking area is signposted we may have some relief!

There is some hope that restoration of the Archbishop's Palace may provide some additional space but we need a solution earlier rather than later."
