Lib Dems launch Ashford election video6.15.00pm GMT Tue 16th Mar 2010
Ashford Liberal Democrats have unveiled their latest general election initiative, a party political video of their key pledges for Ashford constituency. The video, lasting just over a minute, involves candidate Chris Took outlining Lib Dem pledges on rights for the elderly, tax, community action, business and Ashford's growth. The video has been uploaded to Facebook, YouTube, Liberal Democrat websites and WinkBall, a new video service for General Election candidates from all parties. The video can be seen at the via the following link; Commenting on the launch, candidate Chris Took said "whilst the delivery of newspapers and leaflets is still vital more and more people are getting their political 'fix' online." "This is why I tweet often, have an open Facebook account and update my blog regularly. I'll be uploading more videos in due course - we are not fighting this election to make up the numbers after all."
