Charlotte Mbali, Chairperson - Charlotte now lives in central Ashford, having retired from University work in South Africa.

Rowan Mullan, Treasurer - Rowan recently retired from the role of Risk and Control Officer for a major European Bank.

Laura has had a lifelong interest in politics but wasn't a member of any party until recently. She teaches English as a Foreign Language and spends more time than is healthy listening to current affairs podcasts.

Robin Robison Robin is a lawyer who lives on a small holding in Brook

Jacqui is an adult educator who lives in Ashford

In 1984 I was a 14-year-old with strong ideas and wanting to do something about them, so I joined the Young Liberal Democrats. During my time as a youth member, I campaigned on behalf of many Councillors, MPs and MEPs. In Medway I had the opportunity of running for office myself and took the first steps in serving my community as an elected representative. My committee roles evolved from Membership officer to Vice Chair and, finally, Chair. I also have a breadth of experience outside of politics, ranging from being the General Manager of a holiday park to running my own online company. In addition, I have been the main carer for my wife for the last 12 years.
